The XPR SR is Winchester's bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .400 Legend, with a 20-inch sporter-contour steel barrel that comes threaded 11/16x24 at the muzzle. The rifle weighs 6 pounds, measures 40 inches overall, and feeds from a detachable three-round box magazine. The blue and black finish covers the steel, the bolt body is nickel-coated for smooth, corrosion-resistant travel, and the trigger is Winchester's M.O.A. system. The black composite stock has textured grip panels and an Inflex recoil pad, and the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope bases, so the rifle is optic-ready.

.400 Legend is a straight-wall cartridge, and that is why this rifle exists: some states and zones limit deer hunters to straight-wall rounds, and a light 20-inch bolt gun in that chambering is the practical answer. The short barrel and 6-pound weight suit a treestand or a push through thick cover, and the threaded muzzle accepts a compatible device.
